The Path of Meditation
A Step by Step Guide to Meditation

The translation of the Dhyan Sutra, sutras to support the seeker on his path, giving hints to overcome the smaller and bigger obstacles along the way - the whole book is an invitation to experiment and play with the powerful techniques that are given.
With pictures from the time the text has been recorded, at an early-70’s meditation camp in the hills of Mahabaleshwar. The book gives a very lively description of such an early meditation-camp, with Osho as the meditation camp leader.

Path of Meditation

 My Beloved Ones,

First, I would like to welcome you, because you have a longing for the divine; because you desire to rise above ordinary life towards life of a seeker and because, despite your worldly desires, you have thirst for truth.
The people who have felt the thirst for truth are fortunate; out of millions of people who are born, only a few ever feel the longing for truth. To know truth is a great blessing - but even to have longing for it is a great blessing. Even if you don’t attain it that is okay, but never experienced the thirst at all would be a great misfortune.
